Basically, Medicare is a health insurance provider that is designed for people that is over the age of 65 or people under this age that is disabled.

If you have pulmonary disease, you will see that Medicare will be able to cover oxygen sustenance. About 80 percent of the total cost of oxygen tank rentals will be covered by Medicare. The remaining 20 percent will be paid by you or it can also be covered by supplemental insurance or Medigap.

As you can see, Medicare will be able to get you covered with almost all your needs. If you need oxygen as a part of the treatment or to treat a long term pulmonary illness, then Medicare is there to assist you.
