I got the Medicaid monthly vouchers for January and February, 2010 and called AARP and asked that they suspend my Plan F and that I would call them in May to begin taking my premium payment out in June or when I was told that I need to meet the spend down amount again. The girl I talked with said she would do that and asked when my medicaid vouchers became effective. I told her that it was January 1, 2010. She said she would suspend further payments. The next day, February 5, 2010, the $162 premium was taken from my checking account. Will I get that premium put back in my account for February? How does this suspension system work?
